Zhejiang Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (ZIQ), founded in 1999 as a result of the merger of the former Zhejiang Import and Export Commodity Inspection Bureau, Zhejiang Animal and Plant Quarantine Bureau, and Zhejiang Health and Quarantine Bureau, is the organization set up at Zhejiang, a prosperous province in East China, and governed by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ).

ZIQ is a comprehensive inspection and quarantine authority equipped with a strong team of committed professionals in multi-disciplines and offers high-level expertise in inspection and quarantine of product, animals and plants, and in supervision over various industries as well. ZIQ performs the duties of enforcing laws and regulations, mainly including the Law of the People's Republic of China on Import and Export Commodity Inspection, the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Entry and Exit Animal and Plant Quarantine, Frontier Health and Quarantine Law of the People’s Republic of China, Food Hygiene Law of the Peoples Republic of China and Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation.
