Korea Issued Revision of Food Standards and Criterions

Food and Drug Management Bureau of Korea issued the revision of food standards and criterions on September 23, 2008. The involved contents are the follows, - Constitute the diarrheic shellfish poisoning standards of bivalve mollusk, - Expand the list of raw materials which are not allowed to used on food products, - Revise the maximum residue limit of the insecticides used on agricultural products and revise the maximum residue limit of the antibiotics used on food. The date of approval and taking effect of this revision is undetermined.
