No Melamine has been found in main liquid milk brands newly produced in markets (the eighth batch)

AQSIQ implemented continuous sample tests on milk products produced after Sep 14. AQSIQ implemented the eighth melamine sample test on liquid milk in national markets. The samples were drawn from the markets of 22 major cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Haerbin, Changchun, Shenyang, Dalian, Taiyuan, Jinan, Qingdao, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Nanchang, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Changsha, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Xi??n as well as 4 other cities including Luoyang, Luohe, Qingyuan, and Dongguan. 855 batches of liquid milk such as sour milk, pasteurized milk and sterilized milk had been tested and no melamine had been found. So far, AQSIQ has tested 3681 batches of liquid milk samples of 126 brands produced after Sep 14 drawn from the markets of 34 cities, and no melamine has been found. All supermarkets and shop malls should post name list of qualified enterprises and products, and should establish safe milk products counter to ensure market milk products safety and quality.
