No Melamine has been found in major milk powder brands newly produced in markets

AQSIQ implemented continuous sample tests on milk products produced after Sep 14. AQSIQ implemented for the second time melamine sample tests on baby formula milk powder and other milk powder, including 219 batches of baby formula milk powder of 21 brands such as Yili and Yashili (Guangdong) in 9 provinces (cities or areas), and no melamine had been found out. 97 batches of other milk powder of 33 brands in 15 provinces (cities or areas) had been tested, and no melamine had been found out. So far, AQSIQ has implemented sample tests on 347 batches of baby formula milk powder of 43 brands produced after Sep 14 in 12 provinces (cities and areas), and 309 batches of other milk powder of 100 brands produced after Sep 14 in 23 provinces (cities and areas), and no melamine has been found out. (Attached detailed name list) All supermarkets and shop malls should post name list of qualified enterprises and products, and should establish safe milk products counter to ensure market milk products safety and quality.
