Quality inspectors work overtime during National Day Holiday to ensure milk safe

In order to ensure market milk products safety and quality during National Day Holiday, AQSIQ and local quality inspection departments continued to work during holiday, and make all efforts to do special examination work on milk products and in-factory monitor work for milk production enterprises well. 1644 in-factory monitor teams with over 5000 members had been working day and night to monitor milk production factory to ensure milk products safety and quality. In Hebei Wangdu Mengniu Milk Firm, Director of Monitor Group Li Lianhong reported that since arriving at the factory on Sep 17, they had monitored the factory purchased raw milk 3123.70 tons, produced milk products 2885.89 tons, and sold milk products 982.17 tons, and all of them were qualified. Wang Yong expressed that all products entering the markets must be ensured 100% qualified, up to standards and requirements. Later, Wang Yong took up a box of Mengniu pure milk and tasted it. He said that enterprises should produce safe products with stricter standards and more responsible attitude, which was not only trust on consumers, but also base of the company?? development. Wang Yong also carefully examined in-factory monitor record, and sent holiday greetings to factory monitor workers. He told people to ensure factory milk products safety by monitor the chains of raw milk purchase, process control, products out of factory inspection and signature release. He further emphasized that national quality inspection system should carefully implement the speech spirit of Chairman Hu Jintao in Anhui province when visiting milk production enterprises on Sep 30, should make milk products treatment the most important work, should strengthen quality monitor and should serve factories and the people.
