Korea-China Standards Portal launched in Beijing

The Standardization Administration of China(SAC) and Korean Agency for Technology and Standards锛?ATS锛? in line with the cooperation agreement, held the Launching Ceremony for the Korea-China Standards Portal in Beijing, Sept. 26. Vice Administrator of SAC Zhang Jianwei, and Administrator of KATS Insuk NAM addressed the ceremony respectively. Both sides gave high comments on the positive cooperation and progress achieved in the field of standardization, and fully recognized the significance of launching the standards portal. This portal will benefit Korean and Chinese enterprises to keep track of standardization information updates in both countries, help strengthen bilateral exchange and cooperation, and facilitate and promote the healthy development of bilateral trade. It's learned that Korea-China Standards Portal is the fourth of its kind developed by China and developed countries. In the future, SAC will further cooperation with the major trading partners including Germany and the EU in development of bilateral standards portals.
