Latest test: Newly produced liquid milk free of melamine

AQSIQ continues sample testing on milk products produced after Sept. 14, and the 7th inspection was carried out on liquid milk products supplied in markets across the country. No traces of melamine were found in the samples of the 733 batches of liquid milk products including yogurt, pasteurized milk, and sterilized milk under 76 brands in 22 major cities and 4 medium-sized cities. The authority has so far tested 2826 batches of liquid milk produced after Sept. 14, and all samples showed no melamine. All stores and supermarkets have been ordered to post lists of qualified enterprises and their products, and set safe milk counter to ensure sufficient supplies of quality and safe milk products.
