Inspections show newly produced major liquid milk brands in markets do not have

AQSIQ implemented the 6th sample tests on liquid milk in national market. Major liquid milk in markets including 75 brands of sour milk, pasteurised milk and Sterilized milk had been tested. The 609 batches of samples were drawn from the markets of 27 cities in 19 provinces including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shanxi, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong and Shaanxi. The test result showed no melamine. It was estimated that liquid milk accounted for over 90% of all market milk products. So far AQSIQ had implemented sample tests on 2093 batches of liquid milk including 115 brands in national markets, and no melamine had been found. Detailed name lists can be found in AQSIQ website. No melamine had been tested in large brands such as Yili, Mengniu, Guangming, Sanyuan, Wandashan, Weigang and Yinqiao. All supermarkets and shopping mall must post name lists of qualified enterprise and products, and set safe milk products counter to ensure market milk safety and quality. AQSIQ had organized the initiation of supervision and sample tests on baby formula milk, ordinary milk and other formula milk produced after factory monitor, and the testing result shall be published in time.
