Lead Level in Chocolate Imported From Shenzhen Port Was Firstly Inspected Impermissibly High
Recently, Shenzhen CIQ inspected on a collection of Swiss-made chocolate whose lead containment is 3.2mg/kg. This figure exceeded the limit of 1.0mg/kg which is prescribed by national ??hocolate Health Standards?? This is the first time for Shenzhen port to inspect the exceeded lead from imported chocolate. The related products had been handled via regulations. It was proved that lead does recessive harm for people?? health. The reason is that it does a threat to the growth of normal intelligences and the formation of normal activities, especially for the growing children. However, the main customers of chocolate are children, serious attention should be paid by certain departments.
