Minister meets with UK Minister for Trade and Investment

AQSIQ Minister Li Changjiang met with Lord Digby Jones, UK Minister for Trade and Investment on August 22. Both sides held a friendly talk and signed a protocol on the quarantine and veterinary hygiene conditions for the export of UK pig meat to China. Related officers from AQSIQ's Department of International Cooperation and Bureau of Import and Export Food Safety, Registration and Administration Department of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China, and the British Embassy in Beijing were present at the talk and the signing ceremony.
