Children?? Articles Export Face Severe Challenges after the Effectuation of U.S. Consumer Product Safety Act
U.S. president Bush signed Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 in August, 2008 and since then it began to take effect. The act regulates that the lead content in children?? articles should reduce from 600ppm to 100ppm in three years and the lead limiting value in coating material of children?? articles decline from 0.06% to 0.009%; permanent prohibited of more than 0.1% of DEHP, DBP , BBP and temporarily prohibited of DINP, DIDP, DnOP exceeded 01.% of children?? articles. Since nearly 80% of children?? articles in American market are made in china, the export of them has faced server challenges ever before.
