Korean Government Eased Import Restriction on Cosmetics

According to Korean Healthcare and Welfare Ministry, Korean government will plan to carry out the Regulation for the Implementation of the Law of Cosmetic Amendment and further relax import restriction on cosmetics. On the basis of that amendment, the importers of Korean could exempt form submitting the certification of production and marketing of the manufacturer when imported the designated cosmetics from the abroad.

It is said that, as Korean and Japan have became the fashion mainstream of Asia area, the readjust and changes in import system on cosmetic is likely to be followed by other countries.
