Beijing Capital International Airport uses mobile lab

The first food safety quick inspection vehicle was put into use in Beijing Capital International Airport.
The vehicle values millions of RMB, and works like a mobile lab. 15 equipments have been settled in it, enabling the vehicle to inspect most kinds of foods including vegetables, fruits, meats and aquatic products, and to finish quick inspection of over 90 indexes that influence food quality and safety. Besides, the quick inspection vehicle also has apparatuses that can be used in public mini climate, air quality and nocuous gas inspection.
At present, the quick inspection vehicle has been used in the supervision work of Beijing Airport Inflight Kitchen Ltd, food supplier for Olympic venues, to help with the work of inspection and quarantine on food provided by the company for Olympics.
