Olympic special equipment safety guarantee and coordination group holds the fourth meeting

From July 2 to 3, AQSIQ Bureau of Special Equipment Supervision had been holding the fourth meeting for National Olympic Special Equipment Safety Guarantee and Coordination Group in Qingdao. Member units of the group reported the completion of 6 100% work targets, rechecked on-site the safety of special equipment in Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, contracted hotels and Olympic tourist spots, and studied and deployed Olympic special equipment safety ensuring work measures before the opening of Olympics.

It was introduced that in the past June, quality supervision bodies in cities hosting Olympics realized periodical work targets in accordance with original work plan and the deployment of last coordination meeting: first, the 6 100% work targets had been completed; second, effective measures had been taken and work was initiated with creativity; third, when ??entralized area??and ??uffer area??were focused, ?? hundred days supervision??had been initiated in ??uter area??to strengthen the supervision on weak chains; fourth, fundamental facilities such as dynamic monitor system had been made full use of.

The meeting pointed out that Olympic safety guarantee work had entered the last stage. All quality supervision bodies should solve the problems left by object reasons in history as soon as possible; focus on key areas, and finish the review work on special equipments in ??entralized area??and ??uffer area?? examine and solve new problems while preventing the old problems from appearing again; according to the requirements of ?? hundred days supervision?? finish the review work in ??uter area??before July 30. AQSIQ would supervise and guide the work all over the country in a short time.
