Lenovo Group displays the image of China's first-class businesses to the world, and has won international recognition for "Made in China" brand, said Wei, stating that the specialist team from AQSIQ have conducted stringent reviews and found nine series of Lenovo computer products have all met the 78 criteria as specified in related document and been qualified for exemption from export inspection.
It's learned that Lenovo is the first PC maker to receive such national recognition, and nine series of computer products under Lenovo and Think brands produced by the company's plants in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Huiyang will enjoy the qualification.
Export exemption qualification is the highest honor awarded to companies proved to have exceptionally good credit in product quality management and a prerequisite for applying for direct release at customs. It helps create a more relaxed export environment for businesses, and increase their competitive advantages.
Lenovo has received the intensive examination and verification of the specialist team from AQSIQ since 2007. It fulfilled all requirements for export inspection exemption, and was granted the qualification in April this year.
