Quality inspection departments frame Olympic metrology emergency plan

Recently, AQSIQ has specially issued circular requiring all quality and technical supervision units to frame Olympic metrology emergency plan and organize relevant drilling in advance to make sure metrological emergencies could be reported and handled appropriately at the first time.
The circular required all units to make Olympic works the first political responsibility, strengthen metrological supervision, maintain the stability of market measurement order during Olympics, and make sure Olympic safety. All units especially those in Olympic venue places should emphasize supervision on metrology equipments referring to medical treatment, health and safety. Olympic appointed medical treatment units, Olympic venues and relevant hotels and restaurants should be completely examined with measuring instruments of compulsory verification with examination rate of 100% to make sure Olympic safety.
The circular emphasized that all units especially those in Olympic venue places should also strengthen the supervision and administration on market measurement during Olympic games, especially the supervision and monitor on fields closely related to consumers including trade markets, stores, supermarkets, gas stations, and taxi companies with measuring instruments of compulsory verification, to make sure market measurement precise and maintain the stability of market measurement order, and beat strictly law-breaking behaviors such as false measurements.
