AQSIQ to strengthen comprehensive management for Olympics

AQSIQ held a working meeting on strengthening comprehensive management for the upcoming Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, June 12. The meeting gathered about 40 officers in charge of comprehensive management and traffic safety from the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China(CNCA), Standardization Administration of China(SAC), and direct affiliates of AQSIQ. Lectures on Olympic comprehensive management and traffic safety were respectively given by Gong Jianhong, director of State Organs Comprehensive Management Office, and Zha Yongli, police officer from Beijing Traffic Management Bureau Haidian Branch. Zhu Shoujun, deputy director general of the General Office of AQSIQ, was present at the meeting and delivered a speech on AQSIQ's work plan on strengthening comprehensive management to ensure safe Olympics.
