Quake-relief work ongoing

Up to 12:00 a.m. June 3, Sichuan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau's office at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport has conducted quick inspection on 221,360 person times of entry-exit personnel, and 654 incoming and outgoing flights, of which 222 are airfreighters, and 432 passenger airplanes. Some unqualified relief supplies were yet to be released.
Up to 5:00 p.m. June 3, inspection and quarantine authorities nationwide have inspected and released 565 batches of international relief supplies, rescue teams and medical teams in the shortest time possible.
Up to 10:00 a.m. June 3, the health and epidemic prevention teams organized by AQSIQ have assigned 2,051 person/times of members to carry out disinfection and sterilization in quake-hit areas of Sichuan, covering an area of 29.6 million square meters with 65,111 kilograms of related chemicals.
