Food safety monitoring vehicle of CAIQ went to main disaster areas deeply to ens

On May 24, food safety monitoring vehicle work teams sent by CAIQ to Sichuan quake-hit areas successively went to main disaster areas of Deyang, Mianyang and Shifang, and carried out sample-inspections on drinking water sources, drinking water processing factories, self-made water drinking sites and temporary separate packaging stations. They also went to Hanwang Town, the hardest hit place in Deyang area, and took some water samples from drinking water wells of local peasants to monitor water quality and ensure local people could drink safe water. At the same time, they worked overtime to help local quality inspection bodies to inspect on the food and oil products in local storehouses, completing the inspection on more than 90 samples.
After finishing water quality monitoring work in all above areas, they would went back to Meishan city and continue to inspect food and drinking water there supplied to quake-hit areas.
