| Supplementary standards of RoHS Management Regulations in china have been issued Three supplementary standards for ‘Regulations Concerning Control and Management of Pollution from Electronic and Information Products’ were issued by China’s Ministry of Information Industry on Nov. 6 2006. These three standards are SJ/T 11363-2006(Requirements for Concentration Limits of Hazardous Substances in Electronic and Information Products), SJ/T 11364-2006 (Requirements for Marking of Control of Pollution from Electronic and Information Products) and SJ/T 11365-2006 (Methods for Determination of Toxic and Hazardous Substances in Electronic and Information Products). The key content of standard SJ/T 11363-2006 includes scope, technical requirement, test rule and compliance evaluation. Standard SJ/T 11364-2006 requires the marking of toxic & hazardous substances or elements in electronic and information products, environmental protection use period, whether the products can be recycled and name of the packaging materials. Standard SJ/T 11365-2006 regulates the test methods of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated bi-phenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) in electronic and information products.
