CEVA to handle Carrefour retail delivery in Thailand

BANGKOK-based CenCar Ltd, local operator for Carrefour, the French international hypermarket chain is to sign with CEVA for nationwide delivery of its retail and consumer goods.

CEVA will operate 35 trucks from its Bangkok headquarters, including natural gas vehicles, to cover 70-90 daily deliveries across Thailand.

"This contract builds on CEVA's global relationship with Carrefour and reinforces its strong retail experience in Thailand," said the company.

The contract comes after recognition for CEVA as number one airfreight shipper by International Air Transport Association (IATA) and its growing reputation as the leading provider of automobiles and tyres in Thailand, reported the UK's Transport Intelligence.
