Chongqing airport approved to handle perishable imports

CHONGQING airpot has been approved by the provincial government to handle perishable fresh seafood imports, Xinhua reported.

This will facilitate smooth customs clearance of imported seafood from Bangladesh with recent commencement of a new cargo flight service to Bangladeshi capital of Dacca.

Expert said the approval will greatly enhance the functions of the airport, creating a bridge for the import from Middle East, South and South East Asia to China.
