The first shipment of Airbus 320 Major Component Assembly (MCA) carried by COSCO arrived at Tianjin port successfully on July 24th. According to the plan of Tianjin Airbus Project, the MCA left the airbus plant on June 24th and was shipped to Hamburg port via barges and inland river transportation. It was loaded on M.V. COSCO SEATTLE at Hamburg port on June 26th. On July 24th, the MCA was successfully shipped to Tianjin port, from where the cargo was taken to Tianjin Airbus Assembly line located in Tianjin Free Trade Zone on schedule by COSCO dedicated trailer. Capt. Xu Lirong, Executive Vice President of COSCO Group and other leaders from COSCO Logistics, COSCO Container Line and COSCO Europe presented the hand over ceremony of the first shipment of MCA.
