On 9th May 2008, the signing ceremony of strategic partnership agreement between the Guangdong Provincial Government and COSCO Group was grandly held in Guangzhou. The ceremony was attended by Wang Yang, Party Secretary of Guangdong Provincial Government, Governor Huang Huahua and Vice-Governor Tong Xing of Guangdong Provincial Government, Capt. Wei Jiafu, President and CEO of COSCO Group, Zhang Fusheng, Executive Vice-President of COSCO Group, Vice Presidents Chen Hongsheng, Li Jianhong and Xu Lirong. Vice-Governor Tong Xing and Capt. Wei Jiafu addressed the ceremony on behalf of Guangdong Provincial Government and COSCO Group respectively. Vice-Governor Tong Xing and Vice-President Li Jianhong signed the strategic partnership agreement for cooperation and development in shipping, terminal operation, logistics service, ship repairing and ship building. |
