On the afternoon of 15th November 2008, Shanghai mayor Han Zheng met responsible persons from China Shipping Group, China Ocean Shipping Group, Sinochem Corporation, Shanghai International Port Group, Shanghai Real Estate Group, Shanghai Construction Group and Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. MSC, who will enter the North Bund Shipping Service Cluster soon at Shanghai International Passenger Transport Center on North Bund.
Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng stated that he welcomed national central enterprises and large groups to enter the North Bund Shipping Service Cluster, and would provide high-quality service and strongly support the development of entering enterprises. He also hoped that units at Hongkong district could improve the comprehensive service and management of the North Bund Shipping Service Cluster, making it the highlight of Shanghai. President Li Shaode and Party secretary Ma Zehua attended the meeting. President Li Shaode stated that the company would fully support the construction of Shanghai International Maritime Center, serve the development of Shanghai economy and actively participate in the construction and management of the North Bund Shipping Service Cluster according to the uniform plan and requirement. After the meeting, the two sides held official signing ceremony at Shanghai International Passenger Transport Center; president Li Shaode addressed at the ceremony and vice president from development division Song Aiwu signed on the documents on behalf of the Group. Vice president Zhang Jianhua, vice president Wang Daxiong, general counsel Shen Mantang and about 30 delegates from the headquarter of the Group, China Shipping Development and China Shipping Investment attended the signing ceremony. It is reported that the office building the Group purchased according to the Contract will be beneficial for promoting the external images of the Group and improving the office environment. |
