Hamburg S邦d will strengthen its presence in the Mediterranean with the establishment of its own agencies in Southern Italy and Egypt in January.
Headquartered in Salerno, the Hamburg S邦d Agency South Italy (HSASI) is a joint venture between Hamburg S邦d and the Gallozzi Group.
When HSASI begins operations on January 1st, the former Costa Container Lines agents, Costamar, and the former Hamburg S邦d agents, Joint Maritime Agencies, will cease to act for the shipping group in Southern Italy at the end of the year.
Headquartered in Alexandria, the Hamburg S邦d Maritime Agencies Egypt is a joint venture between Hamburg S邦d, Tabadol and Mesco. The JV partners have already collaborated for many years, as Tabadol and Mesco act as agents for Hamburg S邦d and Costa Container Lines respectively.
Hamburg S邦d took over Costa Container Lines' operations a year ago, and recently rebranded its liner operations.
With the establishment of its own agencies, all Hamburg S邦d services in Southern Italy and Egypt will be handled via one contact instead of through two agencies. Login or register to post comments
