Seventh World Record Achieved in QPA??s Handling of Container and Iron Ore

94.9 boxes per crane/hour on the average, the highest is 105 boxes per hour on a single-spreader container crane, and 486.2 boxes per vessel/hour. These are the world records achieved by QQCT for the seventh time on the operation of New Dandong vessel on Feb. 8th, beating the record on COSCO China on May 1st, 2007.
Good news in the iron ore operation follows the seventh container record. By 5 o??clock 18, Feb. 17, a seventh world record was achieved on the discharging of Hebei Pioneer, an iron ore vessel of 200,000 DWT. Within a time span of 21.3 hours, the port unloaded 134,000 tons of cargo, 6308 tons per vessel/hour, which surpasses the record of 6260 tons per hour achieved on June 15th, 2006. A rate of 2103 tons per crane/hour is also recorded.
