Evergreen named best Intra-Asian shipping line for fourth consecutive year

Evergreen Marine Corp has been named Best Shipping Line -Intra Asia for the fourth consecutive year at the 22nd Asian Freight and Supply Chain Awards (AFSCAs). Patrick Phoon, Vice Chairman, Evergreen Shipping Agency (Singapore) Pte Ltd accepted the award on behalf of Evergreen from Caesar Yiu (Director, Global Leasing) Thermo King at a ceremony at Singapore's Pan Pacific Hotel. The AFSCA accolade is particularly significant because it is based on votes from readers of leading regional freight newspaper Cargonews Asia, representing shippers from across Asia, rather than by a panel of judges.
