The AEC-1 will offer a transit time of 15 days from Nhava Sheva to Antwerp, 17 days to Thamesport, 19 days to Hamburg and 21 days to Rotterdam.
The South Korean carrier said cargo destined for Mediterranean and North African ports will be transshipped via Malta, while Le Havre will be connected through feeder services at Antwerp.
The first vessel in the new service is expected to call Nhava Sheva, India's largest box gateway, on Nov. 12.
