Nippon Express now offers a fully in-house consolidated door-to-door transport service to India through its ocean cargo consolidation service line - Arrow International GNS. On arrival in India, domestic transport is the responsibility of Nippon Express (India). Thus cargo is conveyed by the Nippon Express Group from origin to final destination.
This in-house door-to-door service ships cargo bound for India from Tokyo, Nagoya, Kobe, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok and other Asian locations to Singapore as consolidated cargo. India-bound cargo is then sorted into shipments for New Delhi and Chennai at Nippon Express Singapore's warehouse and transhipped to the respective destinations. Nippon Express already offers consolidated transport services to Singapore from the US and Europe, and combining these with the new service allows the group to provide consolidated door-to-door transport to India from these regions as well. |
