Foreign-related patent agencies totals 188

On July 16, the
State Intellectual Property Office
announced that 19 patent agencies have been designated as foreign-related patent agencies and so far, number of foreign-related patent agencies in China has reached 188.
The announcement pointed out that the 19 recently designated patent agencies could accept the commission of Chinese unit or individual for overseas patent application and commission of foreigner, foreign enterprise and foreign organization for patent application or other patent-related issues in China. Meanwhile, such agencies can accept commission of legal person from Taiwan region for patent application or other patent-related issues in China mainland.
