400M yuan IP pledge loan granted Beijing

As announced during the 10th China International High Tech Fair, the bold attempt of the Bank of Communications' Beijing Branch in IP pledge loan in the past two years paid dividend.  As of end August, the Bank granted such loan 44 times to 37 companies.  Of the total 402.75 million yuan dished out, 57.45 million yuan were for patent, 243.3 million yuan for trademark and 102 million yuan for copyright.  All borrowers paid back as scheduled.  No single toxic loan ever occurred. 

The Bank made its first move on November 31, 2006 when making IP pledge loan available for SMEs.  (by Li Zhuo)

北京知识产权质押贷款逾4亿元

本报综合消息  从日前落幕的第10届中国国际高新技术成果交易会上传出消息：交通银行北京分行2年来在知识产权质押贷款方面进行了突破性尝试，截至今年8月底，交通银行知识产权质押贷款业务授信企业37家，共发放知识产权质押贷款44笔4.0275亿元，其中，专利权质押贷款０.5745亿元，商标权质押贷款2.433亿元，版权担保贷款1.02亿元。所有到期企业全部还贷，未形成一笔不良贷款。

据了解，自2006年11月31日起，交通银行北京分行率先为中小企业提供知识产权质押贷款业务。
