State Council OKs working rules for anti-monopoly committee

In accordance with Anti-monpoly of the People`s Republic of China， the State Council has approved working rules for the anti-monopoly committee which elaborates the missions, structure, meeting system, working system and working procedure. 

The main missions of the committee are: drawing up competition polices, organizing investigations and assessments on the overall situation of market competition, making reports; making anti-monopoly guidelines; coordinating administrative enforcement of the law and other unspecified missions.  Under the rules, the committee invites experts from multiple disciples such as law and economic to advise on important issues.

Vice Premier Wang Qishan heads the committee.  Three central government agencies, Ministry of Commerce, National Development and Reform Commission and State Administration for Industry and Commerce assume the routine enforcement duties. (by Wei Xiaomao)

国务院批准反垄断委员会工作规则

本报讯  根据《中华人民共和国反垄断法》有关规定，国务院日前批准印发了《国务院反垄断委员会工作规则》，规定了反垄断委员会的主要职责、组成、会议制度、工作制度和工作程序等，将有序地推进我国反垄断各项工作。

根据规定，国务院反垄断委员会的主要职责是：研究拟定有关竞争政策；组织调查、评估市场总体竞争状况，发布评估报告；制定、发布反垄断指南；协调反垄断行政执法工作；国务院规定的其他职责。工作规则指出，反垄断委员会聘请法律、经济等方面的专家组成专家咨询组，对委员会需要研究的重大问题提供咨询。

据悉，国务院副总理王岐山任国务院反垄断委员会主任。商务部、国家发展和改革委员会、国家工商总局3个部门依法履行反垄断执法的职责。（魏小毛）
