First copyright registration for telecom documents

According to the Copyright Protection Center of China (CPCC), China Netcom Corporation (CNC)'s 12 units of technical documents featuring telecom support for the Olympics, such as Standards for Olympic Telecommunication acquire copyright registration.  This is CPCC's first practice of taking telecom tech documents on board.  In the history of the Olympics, these documents are the first group of telecom standard tech documents filing for copyright registration. 

Through offering quality service to the Olympics, CNC shapes a comprehensive range of telecom tech works. CPCC opened an express channel for these documents and approved the 12 units of over 100 documents within three days.

中国首例通信技术文献获版权登记

本报讯  据中国版权保护中心消息，中国网通《奥运通信系列标准》等12项奥运通信保障技术文献日前获得著作权登记证书。这是中国版权保护中心受理的我国首例通信技术文献著作权登记申请，也是奥运史上首套申请著作权登记的通信标准技术文献。

据了解，中国网通通过为奥运提供的优质服务，整理和形成了丰富的通信技术文献作品。中国版权保护中心针对此项通信技术文献著作权登记申请，专门开辟了奥运服务绿色通道，仅3天就批准了12项100多件作品登记的申请。（姚文平）
