On July 16, 23 days to the Olympics, SIPO and Beijing Intellectual Property Office co-organized a forum on Protection of Olympic IPRs. Yin Xintian, SIPO spokesman and Director General of Law and Treaty Department, Liu Yan, Deputy Director General of the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce delivered keynote speeches. Yin said, the protection of Olympic IPRs has achieved preliminary victory without serious cases occurring and visible elevation of the public awareness.
