Top SOEs house 46,000 valid patents

According to the SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council) statistics released on July 8, China's top state-owned enterprises (SOEs), those immediately under the umbrella of SASAC, made a big jump in patenting in 2007.  As of the end of 2007, they had owned 45,547 valid patents, up 26.6%; 15,681 of which were valid invention patents, accounting for 34.4%.

In 2007, they filed 21,374 patent applications, up 45.4% and accounting for 3.1% of all the domestic applications.  They filed 11,004 applications for invention patent and obtained 10,014 patents (2,056 inventions), up 35.7%.

截至去年底央企累计拥有有效专利近4.6万件

　本报讯  国务院国有资产监督管理委员会7月8日发布的统计数据显示，2007年，中央企业专利申请及授权量显著增加。截至2007年底，中央企业累计拥有有效专利4.5547万件，比上年增长26.6％。其中，有效发明专利1.5681万件，占总量的34.4％。

据悉，2007年中央企业申请专利2.1374万件，比上年增长45.4％，占全国专利申请量的3.1％。其中，发明专利申请1.1004万件；获得授权专利1.0014万件，比上年增长35.7％，其中，发明专利授权量为2056件。（汪玮玮  张海志）
