NCA dishes out 3.2 million yuan to piracy fighters

The National Copyright Administration (NCA) announces that it will extol and award 120 organizations and 94 individuals performing remarkably in the investigation of major cases in fight against infringement and piracy.  The sum of prize is 3.295 million yuan.  The NCA carries out such awarding activity for the first time under Interim Measures on Rewarding the Report and Investigation of Infringement and Piracy.

The prized organizations include Chongqing Copyright Administration, No.4 Unit of the Economic Affairs Investigation Team of Shanghai Police Department, Fujian Enforcement Team against Pornographic and Illegal Publications; individuals include Hu Haitao from Copyright Enforcement Division of Beijing Copyright Administration.  The prizes will be allocated from the rewarding fund established by the NCA in 2007 for combating infringement and piracy. 中国国家版权局320多万元奖励打击盗版先进

本报讯  中国国家版权局近日公布，对打击侵权盗版、查处重大案件工作中做出突出贡献的１２０个单位和９４名个人给予３２９．５万元的奖励。据悉，这是该局根据《举报、查处侵权盗版行为奖励暂行办法》的规定，首次开展的表彰和奖励查处侵权盗版案件有功集体和个人的活动。

据介绍，此次获奖的集体和个人包括重庆市版权局、上海市公安局经侦总队四支队、福建省“扫黄打非”稽查队等单位及北京市版权局版权执法处胡海涛等个人，奖金来自国家版权局２００７年设立的“打击侵权盗版举报、查处奖励资金”。（刘 超）
