SIPO, MPS join hands in IPR protection

SIPO and the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) jointly issued a circular recently to formally shape an inter-agency coordination mechanism in IPR protection.

The circular requires local IPR and police authorities to place great emphasis on IPR protection; facilitate coordination between administrative enforcement and policing work; enhance case and lead transfer and information exchange; strengthen supervision of major cases; conduct investigation and in-house training; perform joint public education programs and create favorable climate for IPR protection; intense inspection and supervision of progress.

中国国家知识产权局携手公安部共建协作配合机制

本报讯  近日，中国国家知识产权局与公安部联合印发《关于建立协作配合机制共同加强知识产权保护工作的通知》，正式建立跨部门协作配合机制。

通知指出，各级知识产权部门和公安机关要高度重视、大力加强知识产权保护工作；推动行政执法、刑事司法的衔接配合；加强案件线索移交和信息通报；加强重大案件督办；开展调查研究和内部培训，强化基层基础工作；共同开展宣传教育，营造保护知识产权的良好氛围；加强指导检查和督导落实等。
