SIPO, JPO decides to expand cooperation after 14th meeting

SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu hosted his counterpart of the Japan Patent Office (JPO), Masahiro KOEZUKA in the 14th meeting between the heads of the two offices on November 16.  After sharing comments on relevant polices, the two sides reaffirmed their intents to enhance cooperation in several IPR fields and reached consensus in specific terms. 

Tian said, China's IPR strategy is to be enacted later this year or next year and implementation will ensue.  China will continue listening comments of government and industry from other countries in a frank manner to refine the strategy.

Consensus was reached on a wide range of issues, such as examiner exchange, joint organization of a meeting on design reexamination, training and exchange between training institutes of the two sides.  For key fields of mutual interest, the two offices decide to hold expert meeting and even highly represented meeting if necessary. 中日两局第十四次局长会议达成一致

中日将继续拓展知识产权双边合作

本报讯  11月16日，中国国家知识产权局局长田力普会见了日本特许厅长官肥?雅博一行。双方召开了两局第十四次局长会议，就知识产权相关政策交换了意见。双方重申要继续加强在知识产权相关领域的合作以促进双方知识产权事业的发展，并就进一步推动知识产权合作具体事项达成一致意见。

田力普表示，中国知识产权战略将在今年末或者明年正式出台并实施。中国政府仍将采取开放的态度，认真听取各国政府和企业界的意见和建议，持续调整和完善中国知识产权战略。

会上，中日两局在互派审查员、召开有关外观设计的中日复审会议、加强人才培养以及两局之间人才培养机构间的交流方面进行进一步的合作等方面达成共识。两局将在双方共同关心的重点领域，适时举办专家会议，并视必要召开扩大工作层会议。（刘 仁　张婷婷）
