30 million yuan loan may be granted to copyright owners in Beijing

Bank of Communications' Beijing Branch, on October 31, launched a new loan program up for grabs by copyright owners from six  categories cultural creative business-film,  i.e. publishing, performance, artistic works dealing, animation and online gaming.  Companies in the above business may obtain a loan by pledging their copyright.  A first such deal was sealed on the same day between the Branch and Beijing Tianxingji Film and TV. 

A standard procedure is that the bank scrutinizes the applicant and determines the amount and interest rate of the loan.  With the maximum amount hanging at 30 million yuan, credit of the granted loan is eligible for future transactions with interest rate registering at 10% above the government rate and 3 years max for paying back. 北京版权质押最高可贷款3000万元

本报讯　10月31日，交通银行北京分行正式推出文化创意产业中小企业版权质押贷款，重点为影视业、出版业、演出业、艺术品经营业、动漫与网络游戏业等6大文化创意产业提供信贷支持。自此，从事文化创意产业的中小企业可以通过版权质押获得贷款支持。10月31日，交通银行北京分行与北京天星际影视文化传播有限公司签署了首笔合同。

据介绍，有关银行将在对具体项目进行评价和贷款审查后确定放贷具体数额和利率。版权质押贷款的最高贷款额是3000万元，授信额度可以循环使用，利率为基准利率上浮10%，贷款期限最长为3年。
