NDRC ready to sponsor IPR generation at home

At the press conference for national economic watch in the first three quarters held by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), on November 2, Deputy Director General of NDRC's Economic Watch Department Zhu Hongren underscored his agency will invoke policy tools to encourage innovation and strengthen support for self-generated IPRs and brands.

Zhu said that protecting self-generated IPR and pursuing innovation were clearly spelled out both in the 11th Five-year Plan and the report of the 17th National Congress of the CPC.  Promotion of independent innovation and support of construction of an innovation-oriented country has become a basic national policy.

Zhu added that support to homemade brands construction is an important endeavor of NDRC.  Since the beginning of this year, the state has strengthened the support of building influential brands.  One example is NDRC along with Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce adopted measures to support textile companies, in particular those export-oriented ones to renovate tools, upgrade products, go for high tech and build their own famous brands.

中国发改委将加大力度扶持自主知识产权

　　本报讯　11月2日，在中国国家发展与改革委员会举行的今年前三季度经济运行新闻发布会上，发改委经济运行局副局长朱宏任表示，将进一步落实鼓励创新的政策措施，加大对自主知识产权、自有品牌的扶持力度。

朱宏任在接受中国知识产权报记者采访时表示，在自主知识产权的保护和加快创新的支持方面，“十一五”规划和党的十七大报告都有非常重要的论述。大力推动自主创新和积极支持创新型国家建设，已经成为国家的基本国策。

朱宏任表示，积极推动自主品牌建设是发改委工作中非常重要的一个方面。今年以来，国家加快了扶持打造自主品牌的工作力度。例如，在纺织行业，国家发改委、财政部、商务部有关方面采取了有关政策措施加强引导，积极支持企业，特别是扶持出口企业加快技术改造、产品升级、不断提高技术含量，形成、树立和打造自主品牌，积极推动交流等。（孙芳华）
