Deputy Director General of the National Copyright Administration Xu Chao announced in a press conference for the release of the Investigative Report on the Environment for the Development of Software Industry in China on August 9, the piracy rate in China in recent years tends to decline. Statistics from the Ministry of Information Industry indicates, the rate is shrinking 2% annually. The development environment of software industry has been improved, and the sales revenues of both domestic and foreign software enterprises in China are on the fast track.
