As reported by the Statistics Division under the General Affairs Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, in the first half of 2007, the administrations for industry and commerce of all layers nationwide dealt with 18,973 cases of trademark infringement, up 0.43% year on year. Of the number, 15,458 cases involved domestic parties only, up 0.18%; 3,515 relating to foreign party, up 1.53%.
