Nearly 20,000 trademark violations handled by AICs in first half

As reported by the Statistics Division under the General Affairs Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, in the first half of 2007, the administrations for industry and commerce of all layers nationwide dealt with 18,973 cases of trademark infringement, up 0.43% year on year.  Of the number, 15,458 cases involved domestic parties only, up 0.18%; 3,515 relating to foreign party, up 1.53%.

A total of 14,296 cases of trademark violation were investigated, up 533 cases or 3.87%.  The number of trademark infringements and imitations continued going up and the cases of general trademark violation kept declining.  A total of 3,014 cases of general trademark offense were handled, down 385 or 11.33%. A total of 15,959 cases of trademark infringement were handled, up 466 cases or 3.01%.

上半年中国工商查处近两万件商标违法案

本报讯  （记者张海志  窦新颖北京报道）日前，中国国家工商总局发布公告显示，2007年上半年，全国各级工商行政管理机关共查处各类商标违法案件1.8973万件，比上年同期增长0.43%，其中国内案件1.5458万件，同比增长0.18%；涉外案件3515件，同比增长1.53%。

据了解，从立案查处案件情况看，共立案查处各类商标违法案件1.4296万件，与上年同期相比增加533件，增长3.87%。从案件类型看，查处的商标侵权假冒案件数继续增长，商标一般违法案件数继续下降，共查处商标一般违法案件3014件，比上年同期减少385件，下降幅度为11.33%；商标侵权假冒案件1.5959万件，比上年同期增加466件，增长幅度为3.01%。
