Professor Xiaoqing Feng Visits German Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology

On the morning of 19 September 2006, Professor Dr. Xiaoqing Feng, Associate Professor Dr. Li Luo, Institute of Intellectual Property Law, School of Civil, Commercial and Economic Law, China University of Political Science and Law, and Mr. Wolfgang von Meibom, the Head IP-Group Germany & Co-Head international IP-Group of Bird & Bird, as well as Dr. Ralph Nack, Bird & Bird, were invited to visit German Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology. The Parliamentary State Secretary, Hartmut Schauerte and Gerlind Heckmann who is responsible for affairs of economic relation of East Asia met us and both sides expressed opinions frankly; especially in respect of the cooperation of intellectual property relating to China, both sides have made joint ideas. This meet is an important opportunity to develop exchange and cooperation between our Institute of Intellectual Property Law and related bodies overseas.
