The EU Plans to Continue Levying 5-Year Anti-Dumping Duties on Furfural from China

On February 24, 2011, the European Commission issued a note publishing the ruling of the anti-dumping sunset review investigation into furfural imported from China. Dumping of relevant Chinese products still existed in the investigation period, causing continual damage to the EU industry, therefore the EU planned to maintain the current anti-dumping measures, continue imposing anti-dumping duty of EURO 352 per ton for a period of 5 years.

On April 27, 2010, the European Commission initiated the anti-dumping review investigation into furfural from China.
