Enforcement of Provisional Anti-dumping Measures on the Sulfamethoxazole Importe

Pursuant to the provisions of Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China and based on the results of anti-dumping investigation of the Sulfamethoxazole imported from and originally produced in India, the Customs has decided to enforce provisional anti-dumping measures on the Sulfamethoxazole imported from and originally produced in India and made public announcement of such anti-dumping measures (Announcement No. 2 (2007) of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, see Attachment 1 for details). Matters in relation to the Customs' enforcement of aforesaid provisional anti-dumping measures are hereby announced as follows:
1. The Customs will levy anti-dumping deposit for the Sulfamethoxazole imported from and originally produced in India (Tariff serial No. 29350030) pursuant to the rate listed in the table of anti-dumping deposit rate (See Attachment 2) discriminately according to different Sulfamethoxazole providers in addition to the customs duties and import value-added tax levied in line with the existing provisions as of February 1, 2007.
The formula of calculation of anti-dumping deposit is:
Amount of anti-dumping deposit=(duty-paid value× rate of anti-dumping deposit) ×(1+ import value-added tax rate)
