Issues on the Enforcement of the Announcement of the Ministry of Commerce on the

Pursuant to the provisions of Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce has accepted the application for withdrawal of action filed by the applicant of the case of anti-dumping of EPDM and decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation of the EPDM imported from and originally produced in the US, Korea and the Netherlands. For this purpose, the Ministry of Commerce has issued Announcement No. 9 (2006) (see the Attachment for details). Relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
  
1. As of February 9, 2006, the Customs will cease the enforcement of Announcement No. 55 (2006) of General Administration of Customs and will not levy anti-dumping deposit in cash for the EPDM (Tariff Serial Numbers: 40027010, 40027090) declared to be imported from and originally produced in the US, Korea and the Netherlands.
  
2. The Customs will refund the anti-dumping cash deposits defrayed by consignees for the EPDM imported from and originally produced in the US, Korea and the Netherlands during the period of enforcement of temporary anti-dumping measures. Relevant units may submit applications for refunding of the aforesaid anti-dumping cash deposits to the Customs concerned and go through relevant procedures within 6 months after February 9, 2006.
