The U.S. to Impose Anti-Dumping Duties on Ribbons from Chinese Mainland and Taiwan Region

On July 14, 2010, the Department of Commerce of the U.S. announced a final ruling, to impose anti-dumping duties on ribbons imported from Chinese Mainland and Taiwan region.
According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, the Department of Commerce of the U.S. determined the dumping margin of Chinese enterprises at ranging from 0% to 247.65%, the anti-subsidy duty rate ranging from 1.56% to 117.95%. The highest anti-dumping duty rate on ribbons from Chinese Mainland imposed by the Department of Commerce of the U.S. shall be 247.65%, while that on ribbons from Taiwan region shall be 4.37%.
The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) will make a final ruling on the case on August 25, 2010.
