The U.S. Double-Anti Probe into Round Welded Carbon-Steel Pipes from 4 Countries

On November 15, 2011, at the request of Allied Tube and Conduit (IL), JMC Steel Group (IL), Wheatland Tube (PA) and United States Steel Corporation (PA), the U.S. Department of Commerce launched anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations into round welded carbon-steel pipes originating in India, Oman, the UAE, and Vietnam.

According to the statistics by the Dept. of Commerce, in 2010, the U.S. imports of the involved products from India, Oman, the UAE and Vietnam were respectively USD 64.9 million, USD 24.2 million, USD 26.3 million, and USD 27.5 million.
