ITC to Keep Anti-Dumping Duties on Indian Wire Rod
[2011-12-21 11:06:29]
The U.S. International Trade Commission determined on Dec. 16, 2011 that revoking the existing anti-dumping duty order on stainless steel wire rod from India would injure the domestic industry.
As a result of the ruling in the five-year sunset review, the anti-dumping duties will remain in place, the ITC said. It plans to release a public report explaining the decision in January.
The U.S. Commerce Department determined in November that revoking the duties would lead to a recurrence of dumping by Indian producers.
